2020 in 2020 is a continuation of ECLC’s celebration of 100 years of Lionism by packing 100 tin boxes of non-perishable foods (brainchild Lion Lan in 2015) for distribution by Edmonton’s Food Bank.

Familiarity and bringing in the comforts of home are great ways to help residents moving into assisted living feel comfortable and welcome. But for some residents, their traditions may not be so familiar to care staff!
The Ming Ai is a special unit for Chinese residents at the Edmonton General Continuing Care Centre. For Lina Chiong and her mother Lai Yung, this attention to detail makes the adjustment to care much easier.
