Nepal needs our help!
Nepal, one of the poorest countries in the world, was hit with the worst earthquake in recent memory on April 25th, 2015. The 7.9 magnitude quake destroyed villages and monuments, and triggered avalanches on Mount Everest and in Langtang valley.
The world news media has reported the death count as being over 7,500 people and this number is expected to climb. The United Nations estimated that over 8.1 million of the country’s 31 million people — over 25% of the population — have been affected by this earthquake.
Please join the Edmonton Chinese Lions Club, in partnership with the Edmonton Chinese Bilingual Education Association, for a Chinese banquet and Silent Auction:
